English Compo Test On Mon (02/02)

* supposely it is a competition.

Points To Take Note

` Dialogue - not too much unless you're writing a book.
` Tense
` Subject Word Agreement
` Length - don't need too long for a good compo.
` Ideas - no irrelevant things.
` No vulgarities
` Cannot write that you die if you yourself is a character in th story, no things like i'm dropped my pen, my last breathe gone that kind of rubbish.
` Don't write about stories that are disgraceful.
` No disturbing things, e.g rape, molest etc.

* pls read through th composition ms chua return, take note of all th mistakes and reflect on it. try your best not to make the same mistakes again for th compo test.

Maths Class Test On Mon (02/02)

* some examples of questions that will appear.
* rmb to list down things like ,
P = {number of students who study physics}
* pls write in statements if you don't know th correct way to express things like ,
n(A) = {} etc

Example 1 :

*A = { multiples of 8 } / A = {8x : x E *n}
A = { 8,16,24,...}

* two different ways of giving question but same answer.
* n means natural numbers or positive integers.

Example 2 :

*B = {9x : x E z+ , x ≥ 7}
B = { 63,72,81,...}

*multiply 9 with 7, then continue 9 with 8 & so on.

Example 3 :

*C = { 4x : x E odd numbers, 4 ≤ x smaller than 10

Example 4 :

*D = { x : x E 2, *x/2 > 3
D= { 7, 8, 9, 10, ... }

* means, x ÷ 2 = > 3
if are with 7, 7 ÷ 2 = 3.5, which is > 3 .
then follow by th rest of th numbers, 8,9,10 etc.
* th numbers need not be integer, th question nvr write.
* x/2 is a fraction of x over 2.

Example 5 :

*E = { x: x E 2, *√x > 3 }

*{ 10,11,12,... } because the elemets need not be an integer.
just be positive number can already.
